Copying Process

Here we address issues you may encounter during the copying process, along with suggested solutions to resolve these issues.

Read, Write or Verification Errors

When HDClone reports errors, it is usually the result of defective areas on a disk. General hardware problems can also cause reading and writing errors, which are usually indicated by a very high number of errors. Hint: If disks are connected by USB, use another USB port and ensure sufficient power supply. When using USB cases for SATA or IDE hard disks, first check if the case is working properly.
