System Bar

The system bar is located at the bottom of the screen. It offers additional functions and information. The system bar remains visible and accessible while the program is being used.

Menu

Click on on the bottom left hand corner of the system bar (fig. 1) or press  Esc to close the current app or function and to return to the Main Screen.

Help

Access the Inline Help by clicking on on the bottom left hand corner of the system bar (fig. 1) or by pressing  F1 .

License Information

Click on or press  F7  to open the License applet.

Applet Pane

Applets are small applications that allow quick and efficient execution of simple, specific tasks. Access any available applet by selecting its icon. The assortment of available applets varies based on the edition and variant being used. The applet availability by variant is shown below.

On Windows



License: The License applet gives you an overview of information specific to the product and license in use as well as convenient access to additional online information.
Notifications: The notification icon will appear on the system bar to inform that there is new information available for the user. The notifications provide user instructions and tips about internal system events and also convey online messages, such as update availability or other information specific to the currently used license.
Virtual Disks (Advanced Edition and up): Allows you to mount HDClone-created images as virtual disks in order to access files and folders within.
Network Shares (Professional Edition and up): Access available network shares, view currently connected network shares or search for additional network shares.
Screen: This applet offers convenient access to screen options and features.
System Status: View system information on the software environment and open the host system's Task Manager.
Toolbox: The Toolbox menu offers helpful links and tools.

On Symobi

Bluetooth Devices: Connect to Bluetooth devices by choosing from already detected Bluetooth devices or by searching for and adding additional devices.
Virtual Disks (Advanced Edition and up): Allows you to mount HDClone-created images as virtual disks in order to access files and folders within.
Network Shares (Professional Edition and up): Access available network shares, view currently connected network shares or search for additional network shares.
Screen: This applet offers convenient access to screen options and features.
Keyboard (Professional Edition and up): Change the language layout of your keyboard or activate an on-screen keyboard if needed.
System Status: View system information on the software environment and open the host system's Task Manager.

On Linux

Time and Date

In the system bars of the “/S” and “/L” variants, the time and date will be shown on the right side.

Quit and Shut Down

To exit the program, click on the icon located in the bottom right hand corner (fig. 1). In Windows, click to exit or to power off the computer (this corresponds to the symbol in the self-booting variants).
