This tab will open automatically upon program startup. It offers a selection of the most commonly used apps in various areas, separated into groups. Some of these apps are also available under their the specific tab (for example Backup).
![]() | FullCopyFree Edition, Basic Edition | This app clones the entire contents of a source disk, or only contents of selected partitions, to the target disk. The sizes, which the respective partitions are supposed to end up having on the target, can be adjusted. |
![]() | SmartCopyStandard Edition and up | This app clones the occupied data areas (SmartCopy) of either all or only selected partitions of the source disk to the target disk. The sizes, which the respective partitions are supposed to end up having on the target, can be adjusted. |
![]() | BitCopyProfessional Edition and up | This app, also known as “Bare-Metal-Copy”, clones all sectors of the source to the target disk, regardless whether or not they contain valid data. |
![]() | SecureThis app saves a complete image of a hard disk, SSD or other disk, including its system and data partitions. You may also choose to save individual partitions of the disk. |
![]() | RestoreThis app restores a disk from a data backup which has previously been created with Backup, or copies data from an image back to a disk, with or without an overlay. |
![]() | FullImageA FullImage (physical image) stores all sectors of a disk or of the selected partitions and, optionally, all sectors in between into a file image. A FullImage can be created from any supported disk type. |
![]() | SmartImageA SmartImage stores only areas of the disk that contain file system data. The creation of SmartImages saves time and storage space, which makes them ideal for backups. |
![]() | BitImageA BitImage is an exact image of all data areas on the source disk, including free and unused areas. BitImages are best suited for data recovery or for forensic images. |
![]() | VM ImageA VM Image is a complete image of a hard disk, SSD or other disk, which is stored to an image file for virtual machines in one of the following formats: VMDK, VHD, VHDX, or VDI. These can then immediately be added to an existing virtual machine as virtual disks. |
![]() | SpeedTestThe SpeedTest checks the reading speeds of the connected disks. Disk speeds can either be checked individually for single disks, or multiple disks can be read either individually or the total system throughput can be measured. |
![]() | Spot File ManagerWith the Spot File Manager you can navigate your system's folder structure and copy files and folders. |
