Spot is made up of four basic parts:
Upon opening Spot, the tree navigation will show all of the system file locations. Each location in a tree view can be expanded to show its folders by clicking (+). Folders in the tree navigation can be expanded in the same manner to show subfolders.
Navigate your browser history by using the buttons located on the top panel:
![]() | Return to previously viewed folder |
![]() | Move forward to the next folder in your viewing history |
![]() | View the parent folder |
Alternately, when looking up a specific folder, you may enter its location into the address bar in the top panel. This area will also show the respective path of the currently opened element.
Selecting a location or folder in the tree navigation will show all files and folders contained therein in the element view. Use the buttons (detailed) and
(basic) in the top panel to select how you want the content of the elements to be displayed in the element view. Select an element to display its details in the element information.
To view information of multiple elements at once, hold down Ctrl while making your selections in the element view. Details of the selected elements will then be summarized and shown in the element information.
Open the context menu by right-clicking on the element you wish to make changes to. All selectable options for this element will be shown and can be chosen from this menu. You can also add a new folder to the currently opened location by selecting the button in the top panel.
