DiskTrim

With SSDs and other disks with flash storage, it is possible to mark non-occupied storage areas. Those disks that support of this function can thereby optimize flash storage internally, which in most cases results in a significantly higher writing speed. With DiskTrim, complete disks or selected partitions can be deallocated as a whole.

Warning: When using the Trim function on disks and partitions, the data contained therein will usually be irretrievably lost. Therefore, only perform this function on disks and partitions of which the content is no longer needed.
