This area deals with the rescuing of defective disks. Always use these functions in the event of physical defects and/or defective file systems.

Clone

BitCopy With BitCopy, which is also referred to as “Bare Metal Copy,” a bit-exact, physical copy of an entire storage medium, or a selected part, is created. All sectors on the source are copied to the target, regardless whether the file system or the partition table register the sectors as being occupied. BitImage A BitImage is an exact image of all data areas on the source disk, including free and unused areas. BitImages are best suited for data recovery or for forensic images.
