Use this tool to create and delete partitions on arbitrary disks. These partitions can be optionally automatically formatted. In addition, the partitioning scheme of disks can be altered.

Click on the dropdown at the top of the screen in order to show your available disks. Select the disk you would like to process.

Following the selection of the disk, the following information will be displayed below the dropdown:
To the right of the Disk Selection bar (fig. 2), you will find the settings button . Please refer to the Settings section for more information.
If the selected disk already has partitions, they will be displayed in the list (fig. 3). The bar on the right side of each partition entry shows their sizes in relation to one another.

In order to execute a function on a single partition, right-click on the partition or mark the partition, then select a function from the toolbar at the bottom of the partition list (fig. 3). The available functions may differ depending on whether they are accessed by context menu or by toolbar.
Click on the icon in the toolbar (fig. 3) in order to create a new partition. Choose whether you want your new partition to be automatically formatted with the chosen file system, or if you want to create a primary or logical partition.

Choose the partition type, size, file system and a name in the Create a partition dialog (fig. 4), then click on OK . A new partition will appear in the list. The disk layout bar (fig. 2) and the bars in the partition list will adjust accordingly.
Select the partition you wish to delete, then click on the icon in the toolbar (fig. 3).

Click on the symbol in the toolbar (fig. 3) to rename your selected partition.
Right-click on the partition to be formatted, then select Format.
In order to format the partition with a specific file system, select Format with... A secondary list will appear in which you may choose another file system.

Select the button to invoke the dialog Create a new partition table (fig. 5).

You may select your desired partition table type before clicking Create to confirm.

Click on the button to the right of the Disk Selection bar (fig. 2) to view the settings in a dropdown box:
