The ISO format is a universal storage format for images from optical disks, such as CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs. ISO files can be processed directly by many programs. By using ISO Image, you can simply and quickly create ISO images from optical disks.

Select the CD, DVD or Blu-ray from which you wish to create an ISO image. The list contains the available media. Optical drives without inserted media will not be displayed. Therefore, please insert the desired media into the drive prior to making a selection.
Indicate the desired target file for the image. In the input field, enter the target file on which the image is to be saved or select it via the button.
You may select additional options for the image:
Click Start (fig. 1) to begin creating the image. The status will be shown in the progress bar in percent (%), along with information about the active part of the process, data transfer rate and the duration. To stop the process, click on Cancel .
Once the process is completed, the Status Component will appear to inform you of the process and the result of the image creation. You may also open the status component with while the process is still active to track the details of the run.
