One or more disks, or even single partitions, can be selected from the list on the left side. Double-click the disk to view its partitions. Click on the desired disk or on the desired partition to make a selection. When partitions are selected, their corresponding disks will also be highlighted, yet the selection will only apply to the chosen partitions.
The data on the selected disk will be displayed on the right side, together with additional control functions that are used to navigate between the individual sectors. The data is divided into 4 columns. The column to the left shows the data offset for each line. Both columns in the middle show the data as hexadecimal value and as text in Latin-1 Standard. The column to the right shows which sector contains the data.
There are several control functions that can be used to navigate between the individual sectors on the selected disk. These can be found at the very top of the screen above the sector data display and can be used to navigate to a specific sector or to skip a certain number of sectors.
There are two buttons in the top right hand corner that serve to manage data changes. Click to load the data on the selected disk anew. Any unsaved changes will thereby be lost. Click
to save any changes.
