When selecting an image, first select its location from the list on the left (fig. 1). On Windows, check Show all drives and Show network shares to display network drives and network shares in the list.

Select a location from the list to show the images and folders within in the “Quick select” box to the right. Images in this list will be shown with their names, dates and sizes. Double-click a folder from this list to open it. To search for a specific image, enter the image name and (optionally) its path in the input field to the right (fig. 2). In HDClone/W, you may use copy-and-paste ( Shift  +  Ins ). Alternatively, use  Browse …  to open the image browser to navigate the folder structures. If no folder path is provided, the /HDClone Images folder path will be used by default.

Hint: If a network share cannot be found or if you want to use a hidden share, enter its full path in the input field Name in the box to the right (fig. 2) and press  Enter. If the share is valid, it will appear on the list to the left. The share will then exist and will be available during the duration of the program, as well as in other program functions.

Select the desired file image, then proceed with  Next .
