HDClone supports various disk formats.
HDClone supports the use of physical disks.
Many disks are divided into partitions in order to maintain the organization of the data therein. HDClone is able to distinguish between the individual partitions of the disk and allows for single partitions to be copied or stored.
In comparison to basic disks, dynamic disks offer the option to mount more than 4 (primary) partitions by using logical partitions. Dynamic disks can be established using the Windows Disk Management. These disks are also supported by HDClone.
RAID volumes are also supported by HDClone and can be transferred to other disks.
